Albert Boateng

Albert Boateng has over 18 years of banking, investment and clean energy finance experience during which he has supported investing in and fundraising for projects and businesses. He was the Regional Director of Persistent Energy Partners, a clean energy investment company. He oversaw the investment and portfolio development of PEP’s West Africa operations including pipeline development, investment appraisal, transactions structuring, asset management, supervision of exits as well as liquidation strategies. He was the regional Asset Manager for E+Co, a clean energy fund management company that provided enterprise development services to SMEs alongside provision of investment capital.  

He is the Regional Coordinator for the Private Financing Advisory Network in West Africa. He has organized and participated in Project Development and Financing Workshops for clean energy entrepreneurs and project developers. Albert has also supported and advised several projects from development to financial closure.
