Para enfrentar este desafio, o GET.invest mobiliza investimentos privados em energias renováveis, criando uma reserva de projectos de investimento financiáveis para iniciativas de financiamento. Ao aumentar o número de empresas e projectos viáveis e ao acelerar o seu progresso, o GET.invest contribui para os objectivos climáticos e de desenvolvimento e promove o acesso a energia limpa, fiável e acessível para todos. Até à data, o GET.invest apoiou 506 promotores de projectos e empresas, dos quais 229 projectos foram aceites pelos financiadores. Isto representa um volume total de investimento planeado de cerca de 3,2 mil milhões de euros, com potencial para proporcionar acesso à energia a 19,9 milhões de pessoas e reduzir as emissões de CO2 em 5,6 milhões de toneladas por ano. 95 projectos anunciaram o encerramento financeiro, o que reflecte a crescente maturidade dos mercados de energias renováveis nos países parceiros.
