Renewable Energy Conference & EXPO 2024

The Renewable Energy Conference & EXPO (REC24) is taking place on 31 October – 2 November 2024 at the Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort in Kampala as part of Uganda’s annual Energy and Minerals Week.

The event is hosted by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development in partnership with the National Renewable Energy Platform. It will bring together experts, innovators, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss and advance the clean energy agenda, including the latest trends, challenges, and innovations shaping the future of sustainable energy.

Together with our sister programme GET.transform, we will support and engage in the following sessions of the REC24 programme’s Team Europe event (Bwindi Hall):

• Thursday, 31 October (8:30-10:30 EAT) – Enhancing the Enabling Environment for Mini-Grid Development in Uganda – Presentation on best practices for mini-grid sector regulation on the continent (by GET.transform)
• Thursday, 31 October (14:00-17:00 EAT) – Meet the Entrepreneurs (by GET.invest)
