Africa Energy Indaba 2024

The Africa Energy Indaba 2024, hosted by the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy of the South African Government in partnership with the African Union Development Agency, will take place on 5-7 March 2024 in Cape Town, South Africa. The event will discuss, debate and seek solutions to enable adequate energy generation across the continent.

The Renewables Indaba, co-located with the Africa Energy Indaba and supported by GET.invest, will introduce the EU’s Global Gateway strategy as a vehicle for driving the energy transition in Africa and present available financial mechanisms to fill the gaps and foster renewable energy. The event will also address topics such as the required scale of investment and opportunities, drawing insights from current clean energy projects and manufacturing on the continent. To explore the latest industry trends, Renewables Indaba will gather private sector stakeholders, including manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, service providers, investors, developers, operators and policymakers.
