The GET.invest Finance Readiness Support was newly established in 2021 to specifically support early-stage, locally-owned and managed companies in becoming ready for investment. Despite their critical role in driving energy access, these companies tend to face significant barriers in accessing finance across all market segments.

To address these barriers, the GET.invest Finance Readiness Support, collaboratively designed and developed with key partners from the energy access sector—including the Alliance for Rural Electrification, the Clean Cooking Alliance, ENERGIA, the Global Distributors Collective, and GOGLA—offers a combination of tailored business development support and advice on access to finance. Thereby, the facility aims to enhance company structures and processes for raising capital.
