Does GET.invest provide grants or other types of funding?
No. GET.invest, through its Finance Access Advisory, only provides in-kind advisory services that aim to connect projects and companies to suitable financiers. We do not provide any financial contribution.
Can GET.invest assist in finding project development funding?
Yes. However, we focus our support on projects that have reached a stage of development where key commercial propositions are clear. For more details about this, please visit the Eligibility page.
How can I apply for support?
All requests for support need to be presented through our application portal. Please visit the Apply page for more information.
Can I apply directly to the GET.invest Finance Catalyst or the GET.invest Finance Readiness Support?
No, applicants are allocated to the facility and the advisors that can best meet their needs after submitting an application through our application portal. Various factors are considered in the allocation decision (investment and support need, prior support received, maturity, ownership and management structure etc.).
Can I only apply for those countries listed in the section Market Information on this website?
Applications for all countries that are part of the sub-Saharan Africa, Caribbean and Pacific region are eligible for support. There is no link between the countries covered in the section Market Information on this website and the countries in which you can receive support from the GET.invest Finance Access Advisory.
How long does the evaluation of my application take?
From the application deadline onward (as indicated on the page Apply) we typically require six to eight weeks to evaluate applications and inform applicants of the outcome. Please note that longer review timelines are possible in case information or documentation provided is incomplete.
Does GET.invest charge advisory fees?
No, our advisory services are entirely free of charge to our clients. Our services are co-funded by the European Union, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden and Austria.
Can I apply for support more than once?
Yes, you may apply for support more than once. In case you choose to reapply with the same project after your initial application was declined, please duly consider our feedback before resubmitting an application. You may also reapply for additional support for new projects and subsequent fundraising rounds.
